Birth photography:

Because your birth story matters.

Every wave, every push, beautiful, raw, powerful.

Doctor hands freshly born baby to mother during delivery.

For the moments that can't be relived or recreated.

You enter your birth with excitement, perhaps a bit of fear, unsure of what to expect but ready for the journey. As your baby makes their entrance, you roar with strength, supported by your partner or support team. Then, in a moment of overwhelming love and awe, you’re handed, or you catch, your baby. Your heart expands, filled with emotions you can’t fully name. In the quiet that follows, you begin to settle into your new role as Mama.

But as days turn into weeks, and weeks into months, the vivid memories of that moment begin to fade. Birth photography preserves these powerful, raw moments, allowing you to hold on to the emotions of your journey. These images offer not only a way to relive your birth but also a chance to heal, reflect, and honor your story as you move forward in parenthood.

my approach

As your birth photographer...

I believe birth is sacred. My role is not just to take photos but to honor your space, respect your journey, and document your story with sensitivity and care. I move quietly, capturing moments as they unfold, without interruption, without intrusion. My photography is earthy, organic, and deeply rooted in storytelling. I chase the chaos, the beauty, and the in-between moments, ensuring your birth story is told in the most authentic way possible.

Reach out to me with your estimated due date to confirm availability. Once I’m available, we’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your birth vision and get to know each other. This is my favorite part, second only to witnessing your powerful birth itself! It’s such a special time for us to connect, talk through your hopes for your birth, and make sure we’re the perfect fit for capturing your story.

TESTIMONIAL

FAQ

HOw Does a birth photography session work?

Once you book, we’ll stay in touch throughout your pregnancy. As your due date approaches, I ask that you keep me updated on any signs of labor so I can prepare on my end. When the time comes, I’ll head to you once active labor is established. I’ll be by your side, quietly documenting your journey until baby arrives and for up to two hours postpartum, capturing those first precious moments of bonding.

When should I book my birth?

I take a limited number of births per month to ensure I can be fully present for each client. It’s best to book early, ideally in your first or second trimester, to secure your spot on my calendar.

Will my privacy be respected before, during, and after the birth?

Absolutely. Your privacy is my top priority. Before your birth, we’ll discuss any boundaries or preferences you have regarding what is captured. During labor and delivery, I work discreetly and respectfully, ensuring you feel comfortable at all times. Afterward, your images remain completely private unless you choose to share them. I will only post photos with your explicit permission. Your birth story is yours, and I honor that fully.

What if my birth plan changes unexpectedly?

Birth is unpredictable, and sometimes things don’t go as planned, and that’s okay. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as you envisioned or takes a different path, I’m there to document your story, no matter what. During our consultation, we’ll talk through various scenarios to give you a better understanding of what can happen during labor and how I proceed in those situations. My role is to capture the emotions, the strength, and the beauty in every moment, regardless of how your birth progresses. I’ll be there to support you through each step, honoring your journey and preserving those powerful moments, no matter how your plan changes.

Do you offer payment plans or discounts?

Yes, I offer flexible payment plans to make birth photography more accessible. After booking, we’ll set up a payment schedule that works for you, with a retainer due at the time of booking and the balance spread out until I go on-call at 37 weeks.

Additionally, I offer a 20% discount for military personnel, veterans, first responders, medical professionals, and their families (with proof of service or profession).
