Hey, Hey! I'm Morgan Ziegler

Thanks for coming to meet my awkward af self

I'm just your typical everyday human being. I love a good story, especially one that involves a badass Momma! Birth photography is where I thrive, I'm a fly on the wall during your birth documenting those moments as of us seasoned moms know are the first to fade from our postpartum memories. In a family session setting, I'm a chaos chaser. Running around like a mad woman with your kids, striving to create images to remind you that life shouldn't be taken so seriously, especially with those our littles!

My Story...

I'm a wife and mother of two little, beautiful but crazy souls. Living our best lives in Texas, where my family has decided to call home, and we love it! Originally from Ohio, it's hot as hell here in Texas, most of the year, but I will take that over freezing my ass off anywhere else. My husband and I both grew up in the same area of Ohio and briefly met in High School but were on two entirely different paths. We met later on after graduating and enlisting in the military. I was an Army Reservist, at the time, and he was an active duty Marine. Our meeting was out of the blue, literally, but 7 years now we've spent together, building a life wilder than our dreams. My two littles are the light of my life. Our first born is our little guy, he was born right before my husband's first deployment and he is what got me through all of those days without his father. I love to call him my gentle giant cause he's a big little guy but super sweet and cares deeply for everyone. Our second born, is our little girl, she was a bit unexpected but a joy without a doubt. Born in the height of COVID, she is my reason for my interest in birth photography, born in a birth center surrounded by calm and caring souls, something about our experience lit a fire for my passion of birth photography. She keeps us on our toes daily (COVID baby for you, lol), and is the definition of a wild child. Also, pretty sure she'll be my karma for my rebellious teenage years.

My Approach...My Passion

I'm not here to take your money, well sort of, but I'm here to become your friend, someone who is there for you the moment you book with me.

Birth is one of the most significant and vulnerable moments in a woman's life, and I'm here to make you feel comfortable having someone document it. My goal is to take the pressure off your support person and allow them to place their attention fully on you and your birth while I do my magic behind the scenes. You're in safe hands that make you feel empowered and safe in your sacred space, I know when to be seen and when not to. I'll do my own communication with your birth team to ensure I'm able to capture the moments you most want during your labor. I don't want you to worry about whether or not you'll remember those tiny details of that day, because you know with your whole heart that I can confidently capture those for you!

For family sessions (maternity too), I want to help get you styled perfect for the session, I want you to look your best for these images we're about to create together, that's why once you're booked you get full access to my style guide! I want to make sure your location is as perfect as you've imagined. I want you to relax, and just simply enjoy your littles and spouse in the moment. I'll tell you now, if you're looking for someone who is gonna say "okay, look here and smile" we aren't going to be a good fit and I'd be happy to help you find someone who will be!

I began photographing young, landscapes, my siblings, myself, you name it, I did it. The business side of it started when my husband deployed the first time, I was looking for an outlet for the stress. My very first session was a military homecoming nonetheless. I spent a lot of time with couples and at homecomings while we were stationed in California. When my husband completed his enlistment with the Marine Corps and we moved to Texas, I decided that maternity and families were more enjoyable for me. Then I gave birth to my daughter during a pandemic, in a birth center and my entire world changed, that's when a fire that was lit. The experience I received with my midwife was beyond magically that I decided I wanted to capture those moments and that chapter for other mommas.
